Chinese New Year 2023
We had great fun celebrating Chinese New Year this academic year, the year of the Rabbit, starting on the 23rd January. The children had the opportunity to participate in the dragon dance and enjoyed listening to stories about the Chinese calendar. Our classroom was transformed into a haven fit to celebrate such a wondrous occasion.
Christmas Party 2023
Fun was had by all at the Christmas Party! The children thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas disco followed by a very special Christmas lunch. The children were entertained with lots of games and dancing! Father Christmas even paid us a visit - how lucky are we!
Black History Month
We celebrated Black History Month throughout October, and were visited by our friend and storyteller, Debbie! Debbie told us lots of interesting stories, including our favourite, Grandma Mae's Dumplings! We are able to enjoy Debbie's wonderful stories thoughout the year with her books and storytapes! Thank you Debbie!
A message to all parents & guardians
St. Luke’s Pre-School welcomes all parents and guardians! If any parent has any special talents or news to share with the children we would love for you to come and join us once restrictions allow! Previously we have had parents play musical instruments, sing, share their profession, read stories and even bring in their pets!
