St. Luke’s Pre-School operates a first come first serve basis in regard to applications. The sooner the application is received the more likely it is your child will be offered a place. Please note, siblings will automatically go to the top of the waiting list.

If your child is offered a place, we will be in touch at the beginning of the year, before your child starts in September. (It is unlikely that places will become available before September but it is always worth enquiring!) For example, the children who are offered a place for September 2024 will be contacted after February 2024. If you do not hear from us and have been on the waiting list for a considerable amount of time, please do not hesitate to contact us to find out the status of your child’s application.

Fees
Non Funded Children: At present the cost is £20 per session.
​
Funded Children: The following funding streams are accepted - Together for 2's, Two Year-Old Working Funding, Universal 15 Hour Funding (3 year-olds), 30 Hour Working Funding (3 year-olds). Please note Universal Funding and 30 Hour Working Funding become available the term after your child turns three.
St. Luke’s Pre-School offers free childcare places pro-rata, for those children who are eligible for funding. However, not all sessions are part of the funding offer. Free places are discretionary and subject to availability.
Parents must obtain any funding codes from the HMRC and the pre-school must check the eligibilty of the code before a place is offered. Places are subject to availability. Codes must be obtained the term before funding is required, or else it cannot be utilised.

St. Luke’s Pre-School splits the funding as 5 x three hour sessions per week. As our sessions are 3 hours and 15 minutes long, an additional cost of £5.00 is charged per session for additional time, consumables and snacks.
*Consumables include nappies, wipes and cleaning products.

We provide high quality resources, materials and experiences, and additional staffing opportunities that are invaluable to our outstanding provision.
​
A lunchtime facility bridges the morning and afternoon session on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday and the cost for the lunchtime facility is £5.50 per day and a packed lunch is required. The lunchtime facility caters for up to 20 children. More full days are being considered.
​
At the time when a booking is confirmed, a payment of the first half of term’s fees, or a month in advance, regarding your child’s commencement date will be required to secure their place.
Fees are invoiced to primary caregivers in the first week of every half term and are to be paid by the end of the half term.
